Combination of words such as in “weren’t, isn’t, wouldn’t, we’ve” is called contraction. Contractions can be used in colloquial speech and informal writing, but should be avoided in formal writing. Do not use contractions in your manuscript or during your communication with the journal.

Impact Factor

Impact factor is a numerical value calculated by using the number of articles published in a journal in the previous two years and the number of citations these articles received. High impact value is a clue that shows articles in that journal receive high number of citations. Therefore, in time impact factor became an indicator showing the prestige of a journal.
