To decrease your word count, use verb forms of words which have similar noun forms. For example, instead of “A comparison was made between A and B”, use “A and B were compared”.
Impact Factor
Impact factor is a numerical value calculated by using the number of articles published in a journal in the previous two years and the number of citations these articles received. High impact value is a clue that shows articles in that journal receive high number of citations. Therefore, in time impact factor became an indicator showing the prestige of a journal.
