Hint
-
When writing, one of the common mistakes is to accidentally leave more than one space between words or after punctuation marks. You can find extra spaces in your text by opening the Find feature (Ctrl+F) of the Microsoft Word program and entering two spaces in the search box.
Impact Factor
Impact factor is a numerical value calculated by using the number of articles published in a journal in the previous two years and the number of citations these articles received. High impact value is a clue that shows articles in that journal receive high number of citations. Therefore, in time impact factor became an indicator showing the prestige of a journal. To learn more about the impact factor see Part 1: Basics of Medical Writing.
